Doubtful, but not like it'll be 1:1 unless MS pushes some sweet discounts.

Yeah, if it stays as it is with no XB1 cut and if they have the same value/ price on BF then I think the numbers will be very similar to last November but in PS4's favour (1.2m to 800k ish). If MS do some pushing they will both be over 1m. I can't see PS4 being less than 1m no matter what happens, if the BF deal is really good it could go far beyond 1.2m

Quote from: Xevross on Oct 28, 2015, 08:42 PMUgh, why would people want to use iOS after having android? It makes no sense to me. I'm happy to say that I've never bought an apple product and that shall carry on
My friends Android have a lot of issues (crashes and reboots)... my iPhone 5S is dam rock solid like never crashed (or needed to be rebooted for crashes... only updates).
I can't use Android because the different way to use it... I need to ask all the time how to make easy tasks with Android... iOS is so intuitive.

I see a log friends wants to move to iPhone too but the Android in most cases are cheaper.

My Mom left her Android fall into the sea and needed a new Phone (she used an old Galaxy S3 Neo) and her coworks all told her to buy an iPhone... I did talk with hear how she could expend about twice the money to get a iPhone like mine so I convinced her to buy another Android (I don't like Android but I'm not so dumb to see its costs & benefices).
From all phones I choose to her we ended buying the Galaxy S5 Mini for 3 reasons: same Samsumg layout (she wanted something like the old one), a promotion about 30% off and the others she liked didn't have water protection (so it can fall in the sea ans she fast take it back without any issue).

iPhone is more resistant than most Androids too... my 5S fall from high heights without never had big issues while Androids phones just broke all the parts doing the same.

You see I can't back to Android after use iOS or Apple phones but I know the benefices of an Android.

It sold more BF last year, no? They day... not the week.
Or maybe it was Xbox One the BF day and Sony the BF week.

I've never had any problems with any of my android phones. And if you manage to break one from dropping its your fault for not buying a protective case. I find using android so much easier and people I know who have gone from iOS to android love it and would never go back. Apple have come up with barely any new ideas recently; they just copy android phones, pass off the ideas as their own and charge the most ridiculous prices. Their profit margin of 40% is disgusting, I'd much prefer to buy an android which is way better for a lot less money and that is what I'll continue to do.

I never use protective cases... it is useless and make the phones unusable to me.
I love to use the phones how they are without any accessory.

Lot of times I was crazy nervous sawing my 5S dropping on the floor to get it and see it was always alright... it is unbelievable how the iPhone 5S build is strong... some friends said the iPhone 6 build material is weaker.

My iPhone 5S had the touchid that was a amazing ideia and no Android had at the apple phone launch... today they have on screen that it is not the same... it is absolutely amazing to use the phone with the touchid.... easy, fast and good... I take that like the innovation for the 5S because no other phone had it before.

Uncharted bundle up to #8 and Destiny is climbing, looks like more people are discovering that awesome bundle!

The $399 Xb1 + kinect + 3 games bundle has shot straight to #49, one place above the standard PS4 star wars bundle. The 3 big ones are 21, 22 and 23 still.

Androids have huge variety. You can't generalize for all androids lol, especially about their build quality.

I have dropped my S6 Edge to the ground at least twice without cover and nothing happened. The build quality is amazing compared to S5.

As a tech nerd, I much prefer the android OS over iOS because it allows me to do a lot more with much less limitation.

Really? I'd much rather just have a case and not worry about my phone being damaged.

I said they came up with barely any ideas... barely any. That was the one idea I had in mind that kept me from saying none. I can't think of any more off the top of my head.

Funny though, one of my friends who has an iphone was telling me how amazing it was that they now have a low battery mode to keep their phone going longer. I just laughed out loud because its such a simple feature. Stuff like that puts me off iphones even more

Yeah one of my friends swapped from iphones 5S to the S6 edge a couple of weeks ago and he loves it, says he'd never go back. He already dropped it but no harm done and now he has a case for it. Sony and Samsung phones always have fantastic build quality.

I still think you definitely need a case.  I know lots of people who dropped their iPod/iPhone and got the front all cracked up.  Happened to mine 2 or 3 years after using it.
A lot of the android features make things easier, but iOS can still do quite a bit.

It took a while, but I found it. I was more biased in my earlier days in Chartz, though this comment was not.

I'm not saying Sony had the most profitable generation or the most successful (yet), but they also spotted their competitors everything imaginable.  For those of you who say the PS brand is dying, you need to look at what happened to other consoles who made even one of these mistakes.  They never sniffed 50m let alone 100m.  If they can be the best selling console this gen, or even second, they will be the first to ever do so at such a high price and being late and making a multitude of other moves that would spell death for a less powerful name.  This shows that next gen, if they price right ($400) and are on time (dev kit schedule suggests 2013) and use the architecture that is rumored their first parties and free online have them set to take back the lead.  This kind of success shows that the verdict is out on these systems and people are choosing PS now that the prices are reasonable for it (still higher than its competitors for the whole gen).  Yeah the others have been successful, but it was all dependent on Sony errors that they may not be spotted next gen.

This is key, right here. I feel like the 360 is a one hit wonder that mostly benefited from a year head start and Sony's huge stumble at the beginning of this gen. The NextBox is definitely not going to have that kind of success again mainly because Sony is much more prepared.

OT: The PS3 getting at least 50% marketshare next year is quite possible. Though, will I be ecstatic about this? Not really, but nor will I think it's meaningless.

Yeah, I don't know anyone who doesn't have a case for their phone. They aren't intrusive at all, they just make your phone a bit bigger. Since companies charge so much to replace screens (especially apple) it seems stupid to risk it tbh
