DAT Destiny selling near or over most of the release in 2015... truly EPIC for a new IP.

With the taken king boost its 2015 numbers will be very big.

Destiny 2 2016 or 2017 will be huge.

Now rational people will see that this is not going to be close to actual sales numbers (heck Forza 5 even had a free weekend) but you know dang well that now and again someone is going to come and take this as these 2 games selling 7 million units on X1
Lol wait what? I read that thread earlier and was mighty impressed, but it's unique players PER game added up? That's a joke.

I remember ethomaz and Chris Hu got into an argument about Driveclub vs Forza 5 sales. I jumped in the conversation because the entire time, Chris did not make one citation and kept using Chartz's software numbers. Then, he resorted to using leaderboard numbers, thinking that the number of people in the leaderboard = amount of sales. At that point, I just laughed and didn't bother replying because his Forza bias was apparent and there would be no point convincing him otherwise.

It seems to mysteriously line up with that number, so it would seem like the logical assumption to make. It's a completely pointless PR statement.

The Order sold 370k in Europe makes me believe it crossed 1m WW.

Wouldn't Europe do bigger numbers than US?

They are discussing in GAF thread... seems like Nanco games were left *conspiracy theories*.
Or the The Witcher sold at low avg. price and didn't reach over €15m revenue.

GTA V is a beast! No Witcher is really, really odd!

I don't think so. The second biggest launch of the year in the UK so far and over 6m sold globally and not even 15m revenue in Europe lol?? It probably sold more in Europe than the US to be honest.

Lmao.  Wii U gets one of its biggest games this year and ps4 is the week after a major boost.  But it's all rosy for the Wii U and doom for the ps4 despite the small gap between them.

I keep saying it but media create gaf is turning into a Nintendo fanboy cesspit.  It's like their last refuge or something where they can sit on their proverbial high horse.

It's on the chart. Probably based on gfk numbers. So yeah, retail only. And the average sale price is pretty dang good too. I made a profit off my purchase of the Order. On sale for 40 bucks at target on launch week. Combined it with another promotion and team members discount and sold it in a week after platting it. It doesn't look like a commercial flop. If you add about 15% for digital then in made over 30m dollars in EU alone.
