Detroit #1 but sold only a quarter of what heavy rain managed at launch (physical). Ouch. Means roughly 22k sales.

State of Decay only 4000 behind at #2.

God of War increased by 5%.
Nice GoW!

Detroit though  :'(

Also, holy shame 10 exclusives already for ps4 at #1 in less than 5 months??

Well we have no idea about digital split and we're yet to see about legs. But with a start like that it seems unlikely to match Heavy Rain lifetime.

This year from Gfk means the past 12 months  :P

Oh right

Yup, I wonder about rest of Europe though. We know already that the UK isn't representative of sales as a whole

Uhuh. Also school's out this week and monday was a bank holiday, so it has a good chance to not drop too much. A similar drop to GoW's second week would be excellent.

Quote from: BananaKing on May 26, 2018, 11:25 AMYou don't think it will release this year?

Halo 5 was 2015
Yeah at the very least, a new main Halo will be announced this year. Some rumors say it'll release in the spring.

Detroit will hopefully beat beyond at least.

QuoteI wonder if he's talking in terms of sales or just marketing and stuff? Anyways I hope this game does well, so Sony and Quantic Dream will continue working together. I feel no other publisher would give them the time or resources for the relatively high production values their games got.Click to expand...

QuoteDefinitely the former. He said they have a few figures but it's still early so they can't make a formal announcement just yet.Click to expand...
They are also working on several projects right now. dobahking91 said:

Boom

BananaKing

Great to hear that Detroit did well. I really like these types of games and QD. I hope Sony continue working with them and that their games are profitable.

Legend

I'll wait for some numbers before declaring it safe from doom, but awesome in deed.

Would be sad to see QD not find success.

Boom baby. Biggest launch by far! Another great success.

Beyond launched at 22k in Japan. It had no digital edition at launch.

Detroit launched at 39k. With digital it will have more then doubled its launch. Great news.

Heavy rain opened to 26k with no digital edition.

Seems like WW that Detroit might have performed similarly to Heavy Rain then. Biggest ever by far might have been shipped or revenue. Either way, its a good sign.

Dr. Pezus

Impressive that it sold a lot more in Japan.

ethomaz

Detroit probably sold more than Heavy Rain at launch.

UK screw up things like it happened with GoW "low" sales there.

Not surprising at all in the UK.

Very good hold for GoW. And grats to Nintendo for getting to #2 publisher! Their games hold so well.
