Ah Japan. Always looking for the next megaton as if Hiroshima and Nagasaki weren't enough.

Too soon?

They never happened.  Jet fuel can't melt steel cities.

Any signs of Switch sales? Seems like it didn't sell out that fast.

UK Monday will be the first report...

Nintendo PR possible Tuesday.

Kerotan

There doesn't seem to be much mainstream hype about the launch.  They're lucky Zelda turned out so good.

I was expecting to see gifs of people fighting over switches by now ;D

switch released here. its for 500 bucks lol. with a conversion rate implied its 700$ dollars. for comparison PS4 is 175 bucks (250~ dollars).

That's really odd. Any obvious reason why Nintendo did that?

Nintendo sales here are shame. WiiU is almost non existent. PS always dominates easily. these would likely be imports, or shops are over pricing intentionally to make more money off of sales.

Oh I see. The people who want them are going to buy them whatever the price so why not charge more.

seems so. usually when things release here they are over priced as fudge. its a very small market so companies dont keep tabs on retailers here as its not worth it. but if the product is successful the price drops down so they can sell more, like how it is with the PS4. its actually cheaper here than it is in the USA. which is surprising. hell new games here now cost 50$ on release if you know where to shop from.
