Well we all kinda knew that all of those games would pass 1 million in sell through. It doesn't tell us much.

Also the 17.7m XB360 figure doesn't tell us much because we'd expect Xb1 to be a fair amount above that anyway

Microsoft also has a habit of stuffing the channels as we saw with the Assassin's Creed bundle.

So I was looking around and it looks like Sony posted a sales update on the monday/tuesday of 5th/6th Jan last year.

i.e. if they follow the exact schedule then we'll get some juicy sales figures in about 10 hours

It more than 12 but I don't believe the numbers on vgc regarding xbox one for a second. Or any console for that matter. Xbox too high, wii u too high. The only one that might be close is PS4 and I still think it's under by a million.

That's true, some people just get too high on fanboyism. On both sides. I've always believed xb1 was about 16m at the end of September, it should be over 20m by now. Its not doing badly at all.

I was talking about shipped, since that was the topic of conversation at the time. I shouldn't have said "easily" to be honest, I don't think it will be much over 20m shipped.

My guesstimate for end of 2015 sell through is 19m

though scalebound being delayed is good for it and for MS. after Tomb Raider got obliterated this holiday its clear that not all games do better during the holiday season. Scalebound going up against Mass Effect, CoD, Gears, battlefield, GT6, Destiny 2 and what ever is going to released this holiday is just going to kill it.

i also think MS has learned its losing more not having games early in the year than how much the gain from stuffing everything in the holidays. i think this was pushed back to spread releases out more for MS

Tomb Raider has Sold over 1 million in 2015. Xb1+360+Digital.

for comparisons sake, Bloodborne, a new IP, sold over 1 million in 12 days. Infamous Second Son sold over 1 million in 9 days (on a hardware install base of 7 million). Tomb raider sold 1 million (could very well be much over that, but i doubt it is) sold 1 million in 2 months, coming off of a game that sold 8 million.

Hmm, but even looking at their 2016 lineup, it's just gotten significantly weaker. Especially if you have a gaming PC you have basically no need for an X1.

I think this is what the Xbox Two is gonna be.
