I think the PS4 v XB1 situation in that chart makes absolutely perfect sense. Before BF that was about what PS4/XB1's rankings were in November monthly too. Its just how it contrasts with the hourly which is making us doubt it. As was pointed out before though, it doesn't include Cyber Monday so you have to say in terms of December NPD days PS4 will likely be #1

So PS4 is now $299 again. The effects of that should be showing shortly. WiiU dropping away now, really surprised its #1 on the monthly

I found some words.

If you think about it logically it makes sense... sort of. It doesn't go along with the hourly rankings but it makes sense. PS4 dropping away because its about to be discounted, Xb1 Gears climbing slightly because amazon put it back down to 325 that day. WiiU still #1 because it was 249. If PS4 shoots up after it goes back down to 299 then we know its accurate.

I think it's going to take more than one monthly update for ps4 to shoot back up

It's not like there's a big playerbase of Wii U owners. Plus, there's quite a bit of competition out there right now and the critics didn't give this game the same kind of praise they gave XC on the Wii. Unless the game has Mario or Zelda on the box, I wouldn't expect anything on the Wii U to chart very high at this point. It is a great game, though. A friend of mine picked it up and I watched him play it.

Ill just hope USA buys this dang amazing game!
Luckily it is also #1 on eshop despite the huge download(well for a wii u console).
