QuoteOur district's stock of the cheap xb1 bundles is largely depleted, but we've got plenty of the uncharted bundles left, because Sony sent us a ton right before the weekend. Then we've got all these fudgy tomb raider bundles people keep looking at like they're plague ridden or something. It's stupid.
Basically, last night and today have seen both systems sell really well. Definitely good. But why didn't ms send us more inventory of the cheap bundles? I don't get it. Sony stocked us up for their entire weekend.
 (Sigh) is it closing yet?

Dr. Pezus

The most recent pre order numbers on chertZ must have reached new heights of being obviously wrong lol

Compare this to last year where Sony undershipped the GTAV + TLOU bundles. They have really gotten efficient that sending PS4's to retailers.

LOZ Twilight Princess apparently gained 107,845 pre orders 15 weeks before its release

Fire Emblem Fates also gained 62k

Mega Man Collection gained 40k.

Plus MS is not in a position to loose money like last year... so they are trying to sell more expensive bundles than the cheaper ones.

It will probably take a few days for amazon to count today in the monthlies.
What did Sony and Microsoft shift last black friday?

I reckon Sony will be heavily up and Microsoft a bit down.  Big overall win thanks to pre orders.

Assuming that 24.5m is reasonable (that someone was trying to pass off as all Xbox Ones.... but based on the previous shipments, it does seem reasonable for Xbox as an entity), we can guestimate the following.  This was from like late October I think...

QuoteIf the average was 30% for Xbox 360 after those 2 quarters, that would put Xbox One shipments at 15.67m.
If the average was 20% for Xbox 360, that would put Xbox One shipments at 17.18m.

Even at an optimistic 10%, that would put Xbox One shipments at 18.69m.
At 40%, Xbox One shipments would only be 14.16m.

3.9+1.2=5.1m Xbox Ones
3.5+0.8 = 4.3m Xbox 360s
After this, the number of shipments for each, as far as I know are tricky.

This leaves though, 15.1m shipments after this date.
Even in that second quarter, the Xbox 360 made up 40% of all shipments.  40% is not reasonable to assume for an average, but neither is 10%.
Assuming that, the above quote gives an idea.
At 25%, that would put total Xbox One shipments at 16.425m.

Cute Pikachu

So judging by most accounts on Gaf all the consoles(even the wii u) sold healthy.  ;D
