Quote from: ethomaz on Nov 23, 2015, 11:16 AMBattlefront did pretty good in UK.

- 4th biggest launch of any game in 2015
- the fastest selling non-sequel PS4 title ever
- selling more at launch on Sony's format than another online-only title, 'Destiny'

59% - PS4
39% - Xbox One
2% PC

Seems like Xbox One is have a lot of bundles with 1 or 2 free games in UK and that helped it to have a lot of games in the TOP40.
Fallout 4 dropped a lot (80%)
Tomb Raider is kinda of showing some legz (-37% only).
AC and FIFA rising... good.

Edit - Actually Tomb Raider did 42k first week in UK.

Week: 1 42K
Week 2: 26K (-37%)

Yeap the drop was small but the sales are yet Bomb Raider.
I'm guessing the battlefront bundles selling very well caused the gap between ps4 and XB1 to be so big. Pretty good start for Battlefront, looks like it will be 3rd in the month. Fallout drop is harsh but expected, it had a load of hype. Most who wanted it got it at launch

Dr. Pezus

Will be interesting to see if BF can have better legs than FO4. I think it can

Quote from: Tamron on Nov 23, 2015, 08:35 AMI just want to clarify a few things here.

A few months back she walked away from VGC because she was dealing with some family issues, specifically her mother passed away so she didn't want to deal with VGC as well as the loss.

Staff kept her on board and after a few weeks she came back, but was never really happy about things and as time went on she just grew more and more distant until she decided that she wasn't ever going back, and wrote a long rant hoping the mods would take the hint and de-mod her, they didn't, so she said she would just perma-ban herself and be done with it, I asked her to perma-ban my own account too since I have little to no real reason to be there, and she did shortly before banning herself.

Other staff de-modded and un-banned her by the looks of it, likely in an attempt to "keep her around", it will not do them any good, what so ever, she is 100% done with VGC and won't be going back regardless of the status of her account.

As for her joining here, or me sticking around too, that's highly unlikely. I mean nothing bad by that of course, just seriously doubt it will happen.
I had a feeling that Tachi grew tired of VGC, especially with all the rampant pettiness in that forum. I also don't like how the staff is trying to keep her around when she has already made up her mind.

I wish you and Tachi the best (say hi to her for me, too :P ). If you ever do want to stick around and/or Tachi joins, you two are always welcome.

Should be noted that the 42K figure includes both the XBO and 360 versions, meaning that the XBO version only sold 35.7K (85% XBO, 15% 360) first week.

Also, Halo 5 sold less than the 360 version of Black Ops 3.

Yeap... GAF is comparing Tomb Raider sales with The Order... both did similar in UK.

I'm trying to find that thread that says TB did 60k in VGC but I'm having no lucky.

That can't be encouraging....

STAR WARS AT-AT NO1

23/Nov/2015
'Star Wars Battlefront' shoots straight to No1 with the biggest ever launch for a title based on the Star Wars franchise, selling 117% more units in its launch week than previous best 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed'.

Released on Thursday, it is the 4th biggest launch of any game in 2015. As it is more of a reboot than a sequel, it becomes the fastest selling non-sequel PS4 title ever, selling more at launch on Sony's format than another online-only title, 'Destiny'. 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' remains at No2 despite a 50% drop in sales, while last week's top seller 'Fallout 4' (-80%) slips to No3. Sales of 'FIFA 16' continue to pick up this week with Christmas in sight, rising by 14%, but down one place to No4. At No5, 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' has a credible second week with only a 37% decline in sales, keeping it ahead of 'Lego Dimensions' (+0%) which climbs 2 places to No6. 'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' (+7%) also jumps 2 places, up to No7 with the PC version new this week. The Top 10 is rounded off with 'Minecraft Story Mode' (-32%) at No8, 'WWE 2K16' (-4%) at No9 and 'Need for Speed' (-39%) at No10. No other new titles are able to force their way in to the Top 40 this week.

The game requires internet for the campaign too.
