Yeah that was a joke.  Sony announces numbers higher than his "We don't know where they can be... we can't just add numbers anywhere... our data shows otherwise..." MS announces numbers, not only do they get adjusted, he doesn't adjust the numbers anywhere and just changes the total.  Despite the fact that Mattrick lied on stage at E3 about the 360's numbers.  Sony's never lied about their their shipped/sale numbers.

I don't remember if it was Mattrick but MS sais at E3 they are over 56m sold... turned ou 55.4m shipped a month later with MS quarter results.
