I think it's a smart idea.

The game was announced for PlayStation giving playstation fans time to get interested. Then they ripped it away from them, forcing those people to seriously look at buying an XBOX ONE.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty bitter if it does turn out to be full exclusive, but I'm not buying an Xbox One for Tomb Raider.  Plus with Tomb Raider so far away and if Xbox One still doesn't outsell the PS4 for NDP this year and most of next, I'm sure MS may pull the plug even before they get to holiday 2015.  That's the other thing, the game is so far away, who is this gonna entice?  Destiny will be selling PS4s, whatever Sony has been building will be selling PS4s next spring, Uncharted 4 is gonna be selling PS4s when Tomb Raider finally comes out.  Good move for MS for sure, terrible mistake for Square Enix.  I mean, Star Ocean was destroyed as a franchise for their timed exclusive deal, this may do the same to Tomb Raider.

its a good move, this is probably covering up the void they probably had for black tusk cancelling their game to make gears. XB1 needs everything they can get, its square who is beyond stupid. they should have looked at xb1 sales.
