Square likes money.

If they made it exclusive for a time, then they believe Microsoft is paying them more than the lost money on PlayStation.

The problem is what ethomaz is saying here:

Well ta least now Square knows the sales will be truly disaponting... not like 3 milionário sold disaponting.

Square Enix is gonna be very disappointed with sales if the 5 million in the first month wasn't enough for them for the last game.  MS had to have forked close to 100 million if that's the case.

Though it's a "2015" exclusive right?  I wasn't watching the conference to know what they said.  Though it releasing close to December and 2015 being a month later...
