PSV title "Damascus Gear: Saikyo Exodus" HD Edition announced for PS4, PC

Arc System Works has announced Damascus Gear: Saikyo Exodus HD Edition, a high-definition version of the March-launched PS Vita title with expanded content, for PlayStation 4 and PC. The PlayStation 4 version will launch on August 29 in Japan, while the PC version will launch via Steam this winter.


In Damascus Gear: Saikyo Exodus HD Edition, the player pilots a robot called a "Gear" in order to repay his debt of 100 million Eyn within the span of a month.
Players can freely customize their Gear for battle from eight parts with an abundance of variations. Powerful parts can be stolen from enemies during missions to strengthen the player's robot. Parts have special effects known as "characteristics," and by combining parts and characteristics, players can build a Gear suited to their strategy.

More than 45 types of robots and 2,400 types of parts that didn't appear in Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo have been added.
