The visual improvements look really good.

That looks absolutely amazing!  I might end up just doing a brand new play through and start fresh.

Plus terrain manipulation!!  Can't wait to try it.

Hopefully this will help push the Elite devs to put more focus into walking around on atmospheric planets. The updates added to Elite in the past year have been cool but they haven't felt significant in the grand scheme of things. Engineers, passenger missions, ship launched fighters, and multi crew are all things that only matter to the people already playing.

My only significant dislike is the stupid lore update.
