German retailer CoolShop has listed a Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The description posted on CoolShop matches that of the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004, down to citing the franchise's 15th anniversary (2017 is Street Fighter's 30th anniversary), but according to Twitter user Shinkendo (2, 3, 4), who NeoGAF users say is in the know in the fighting game community, the description is wrong and this collection will include more games than the 2004 collection.

If it has the alpha games and all the third strike games, I'll cry.  Though it'd make the Third Strike arcade board I bought useless...

Me too.

Also Hyper Street Fighter or Ultra II whichever has more characters

Ultra has more.  Maybe it'll be Ultra Street Fighter 2, but Hyper Street Fighter 2 style.  Or maybe it's just The Anniversary Edition with the Alpha Anthology (Most likely).  Which would still be awesome for me.  I can fully drop PS2 support if that's the case.

Whatever it is, I hope it comes to PC.

One of the posters on GAF says the source did say that a PC version was in discussion so here's hoping :P

Then it might be something custom then.  I'm kinda worried if it is.  Alpha 3 Upper's best version is the PS2 version.  That version won't be in this collection if it is.

They won't put Alpha 3 Upper is what I'm trying to tell you!  They'd be emulated and there's no Naomi emulator that's open source and easy to work.  So they'd put the CPS2 version.  They did that with the NesicaxLive version.  Alpha 3 vanilla is missing a lot of characters.

Oh Upper is Max lol

I was like what is upper lmao

Well lets hope its a dedicated port (with Upper/Max) and not a lazy port (CPS2 ver) :X

It'd be a lazy port.  Unless the Alpha Anthology's Upper was a custom rom running on an emulator it's not gonna happen.  I mean, they would have used that for the re-release on Taito's platform.

I'll take whatever I guess.

I just want more SF goodness to play on PC.
