Yep, great e3 for nintendo fans!

I'm surprised that COD seemingly has such a small presence at e3 this year. Are we going to see any single player?

It just seems like more and more E3 is not this huge showcase for games anymore.  It's literally becoming show new games one after another.  Have show floor demos.  And then market/show a ton more outside of conferences.

True, with social media the way it is, you can release a trailer for a big game at any time and pretty much all of the potentially interested target audience will see it. No need to save stuff for e3 anymore.

And not to mention how easy it is to stream stuff now.   I think it's probably time people start changing their expectations for these conferences.  Mostly just quick showcases now to show new and previously announced games quickly.  We will see if the trend continues next e3 though

Yeah my expectations were low this year so I don't feel any disappointment. In fact, I've enjoyed e3 this year and its got me hyped for a few games.

Maybe if I didn't have lots of other things going on like exams and end of year projects at the same time, I would have more time to think about e3 and would have got more hyped for it ;D

I wouldn't jump the gun and proclaim 1 bad E3 is the sign of the end.

I remember these types of thoughts so much at the end of last generation. The industry's definitely changing but I think E3 like events aren't going away.

Detroit being played on playstation twitch!

Nah i'm meaning the way games are shown at E3 at the conferences are changing.  E3 will be around a while for sure.  Last year was more like this years, but we will have to see next years to see if it's a trend or if it's just because not much new was ready to be shown.

I think shows will be closer to Microsoft's next year. They managed to do games games games while still feeling like a show. That format is the old standard but it works.

Xevross

Wow, Detroit is looking really good. The UI is incredible as well.

Yeah I like Microsoft's format. Some talking is good, as long as its not overdone. Conferences are about showing off games, I don't like that Sony ended half an hour early when they could have given some more games time in the spotlight. It was literally just all about them. Their games, their partnerships. (or parternship, it was pretty much just activision's games they showed)

Xevross

Assassin's Creed is on Coliseum now! They're going to show lots of gameplay apparently!

Love they are going with minimal HUD in AC: origins.  And no mini map

Yeah I loved the lack of a normal map too.
