Probably because the service isn't doing well. Removing the option to rent single games was the dumbest thing Sony could do for PS Now it made the entire service so much less attractive.

"Wanna plant your kids in front of the TV for a couple hours and have them play a Lego game or whatever? That'll be $20 for a month long subscription to our service."

All those platforms seem incredibly niche.

Hopefully it really is just optimization.

Probably not doing well.  I still can't justify it, 1 year option isn't even available here.

Yeah, IIRC PS Now started off with an okay business model and then Sony made it worse.

Did it though?  I don't think they'd have gotten rid of the per rental pricing option if it was making money.  I think they should just integrate it into Android.

I just received a new credit card (only my 2nd one). If I spend $500 within 3 months, I get $150 cash back. I'm tempted to use that and sell my PS4 to get a Pro.

Yeah, it's a monthly sub. You used to have the option to do a sub or rent games individually if you were only interested in a few. However, Sony removed the latter option.

Hmmm......I guess if you didnt have anything else to play with it would be good I guess....but looks like I wont ever be getting PS Now XD


Hopefully we'll see more PS3 games remastered for PS4 or re-released in some way in the future, there's still a couple of titles I have yet to play or own.
