I understand the complaints about the quality on its own as well, what I don't understand is the finger pointing towards Xbox simply because they are getting retail games. I'm pretty sure most people don't give a dang about these games if they aren't free, they'd call them shovelware or niche titles or whatever, but now they are suddenly reason for envy. I also think there's going to be a lot of disappointment going around the Xbox community after they played these games.

Honestly out of the lists for both consoles Broforce would be the one I'd be most likely to actually download.

This whole thing is like when people keep asking for Knack on PS+ simply because that was a retail game, completely misplaced priorities when it comes to places to look for a games quality.

That's definitely one place where I feel the console community is still way behind the PC community, in the way that they still put $60 retail release games on such a pedestal.

Lords of the Fallen : 68 on PS4
Sherlock Holmes : 73 on PS4

Galak-Z : 82 on PS4

As far as newer games go this month, seems like the critics would say Galak-Z alone nuggets on both XB1 titles.

I didn't look at the date, I assumed it was a gdc thing.

What time? Live stream?

I think it is a GDC thing technically.
But the invite says Press Event, so I think there'll be extra.

You joke, but VR streaming is already big. Some presidential debates are streamed for GearVR, and Good Morning America is streaming their trip to Africa in GearVR.

Also I'd stay up for 1AM. I do that yearly for TGS even though I don't even like most Japanese games.

Oh!

Your other comment made me think it was a press event happening in a few hours.

I need sleep I guess.

I've stayed up till past 4AM for Sonys last E3 conference, not sure if I can do that this year as well, I hope I can.

And yeah, I've no idea when and how that VR conference is going to go down. Lol.

Piss Poor. its about time sony stop fudgy around with PS+ and start putting some bigger games on there. Until Dawn, infamous and Tearaway Unfolded both seem like great candidates. and from the AAA games multiplate games Watch Dogs, AC4 and Wolfestien, seem like reasonable games to put.

sometimes they just nail it with the indie games they put on PS+, like Rocket League and Dont starve. even Resogun and Hardware Rivals were pretty good. but they also have to mix it up, and put some bigger titles in the mix.

will the PS VR confrence be private, or will it be live streamed?

Why in the world would they put Until Dawn on there now and completely cut off its legs? And Infamous is probably still selling something as well.

The same goes for the third party games you mentioned, you have to realize that it's not necessarily Sony being more stingy here but the fact that there are now probably easily over 10 times as many people subscribing to the service than there were on PS3 and it's going to be a hell of a lot easier to convince a publisher to give away their game to 1.5 million people than it is to give it away to 18 million people. Why do you think MS "AAA" free games this month are titles that nobody bought in the first place?

You can argue that the higher amount of subscribers should also result in a higher budget for the free games but considering that at the end of the day they aren't the reason most people subscribe to this shame why should they?

you pay 69 cents per game for your $50 a year ps+ subscription.  why the fudge would sony give you until dawn when it is still selling for $40?

there is a reason the AAA games ms is giving is 7 years olds.  AAA games literally have to be selling nothing before publishers will give them away for almost free on ps+ or gwg.   i don't want a 7 year old AAA game when i could be having a indie game free at launch.   ps+ has been loads better since ps4 launched then in the sunset year of ps3.

You do have to realize that Sony started PS+ in 2010 and by that time, the library was already large enough for Sony to put in large titles. In contrast, we're not even 3 years into this generation yet.
