Apparently the beard is a huge first step towards the death of sexism in games.

Is HOT RYU™ the most significant event in videogame history? - NeoGAF
So Hot Ryu is a thing now. Daddy has taken the world by storm. Does anyone else think that this could be a watershed moment for equal inclusion of eye candy? Capcom have dabbled with this kind of thing before (mostly Chris in RE) but never this forwardly and with their most significant character. Maybe now the floodgates have opened we are entering a brave new world of videogame fanservice? Discuss. (edit) For the people questioning 'Hot Ryu' instead of 'Hobo Ryu' or 'bearded Ryu', the name is in reference to his given name among people with an interest in this sort of thing.

People are calling that hot? Interesting...

That whole "Hot Ryu" thing proved very quickly, as if there was any doubt, that many women don't actually have a problem with sexual objectification. The difference has always been how the two genders sexually objectify the other. It's still mostly an anti-naughtiness, anti-male argument coming from feminist radicals. Do you have any idea how many girls I've heard swoon over male characters in a video game just for having their shirt off? Yet we get some butt cleavage and we're horribly sexist? fudge out of here.

Here's the iced up part. Male body being shown off in a video game= perfectly fine. Female body being shown off in a video game = sexism. Male body being allowed to be shown off in the real world but female body not being allowed to be shown off in the real world = sexism. The double standards are so very real.

The whole irony here is that the feminist radicals end up being the sexist individuals. They're pushing the notion that bosom & butts = bad. However, there are many women who enjoy showing off their bodies. Some even do it for a living (e.g. Victoria's Secret). Of course, feminists will have nothing of it because it doesn't fit their narrative, so they make stupid things up like "internalized misogyny".

Which is more or less a pity party reaction to the idea that many of them are either not as physically attractive as other women who show themselves off or because they are too reserved about their own sexuality yet still crave the attention they're not getting. Where I really get a good chuckle is listening to the feminist radicals who complain about internalized misogyny in women who wear revealing outfits and enjoy it while having their near puritanical insistence on covering it up. Which is largely a historical result of men telling women to "cover it up or be declared a joker".

Since we're already on this topic, have you guys heard what happened at Play-Asia's Twitter? Basically, after Koei Tecmo said that it won't release DOAX3 in the west, Play-Asia criticized SJW's for KT's unwillingness.
Of course, that didn't sit well with the SJW's. People like Luke Plunkett (Kotaku editor), Sarah Nyberg (pedophile), and Jon McIntosh spoke out against Play-Asia and DOAX3. Someone on Tumblr even tried to start a boycott campaign. However, it backfired... epically.

Play-Asia would go on to make hilarious tweets as its Twitter account accrued more and more followers:

Definitely buying it through them.

Yeah those SJW people piss me off.  They honest to god do more harm than good.  Like, in Batgirl comic (New 52).  The writer wrote a very powerful Batgirl who goes toe to toe with anyone Batman will go up against.  New writer takes over, writes all this crud about social justice on his twitter.  Turns Batgirl into this teeny bop girl who fights regular people and take selfies.  Seriously?  I wanna know how a girl, who's supposed to have perfect memory (according to this awful writer), forget who she was making out with at a party the night before.  Yet this person is supposed to be a role model for women?  "Hey women, go get piss drunk and make out with people you'll never see again."

Because instead of reinforcing the idea that people in general should be more responsible than that we have SJWs telling women they can be just as irresponsible as men. Which is a horrible thing to reinforce to ANYONE. But, you know, #equality and all that.

It was hilarious seeing GAF complain about Play-Asia. These were the types of comments I kept seeing:

- "Play-Asia is going to lose a lot of customers"
- "Whoever's in charge of Play-Asia's Twitter should be fired"
- "An increase of followers doesn't mean an increase in sales"
- "No one started a boycott campaign against Play-Asia"

And some GAFers accused people who were following and buying from Play-Asia GamerGate supporters. Yeah, even to this day, GAF still does not understand the point of GamerGate...

Buy the thumb grips for like a dollar.  I actually prefer the feel after I got used to them

I've completed the driveclub season pass.  All stars and trophies.  It was an honour!

Rank 63 now and only a few of the vanilla stars left to get.  Almost done with the bikes too.  They I'll do the dlc for it and the all stars pack.  God what a game this is.

GamerGate happened because many in the gaming community wanted transparency in gaming journalism, they wanted a reduction or outright elimination in censorship, and fair treatment in the event of social issues. The SJWs have attempted to paint GamerGate as some kind of sexist, social terrorist organization. Why? Because SJWs actually stand AGAINST what GamerGate means but they can't outright say that without painting themselves, and those they've suckered into following them, as the bad guys. GamerGate actually exposes the hypocrisy and stupidity of SJWs.
