Driveclub PLAYERS Thread - An Endless Road

so i played driveclub fore the first time last night...

...did not like.



for the record i'm not much of a driving game guy but i was interested in this one because it was supposed to be more arcady then GT.   ..it's not arcady enough for me.  up/down shift.  brake.  handbrake.  i can barely drive a real car, i couldn't stay on the road at all in driveclub.

You can set the gears to automatic or manual, I believe.

The game isn't a full on arcade game and not a sim either, I thought that had been pretty clear in the media.
It might be a bit hard at first to get used to the driving but once you do it's quite great.

that much was clear but being told that is very different from holding a controller and trying to not run into every fudgy wall at ever turn (and sometimes the straight aways too )

Well if you didn't know, the flags next to the road tell you about how much you need to slow down for a turn. There are green, yellow and red flags. Green means the turn is easy, yellow that it's medium and red that it's hard so you should slow the fudge down!

you forget to use zeros.   otherwise i can't disagree.


this is why i wanted to wait for the ps+ edition.  i was on the fence on whether or not i'd like the game.  driving games isn't generally my thing and i'm terrible at them.

One of my favourite ps4 games.  only need 2 gold trophies for platinum but I'm also trying to complete the season pass too.  

I just got the gold trophy for rpm so only 3 packs left!  This game is so enjoyable. Perfect mix of sim and arcade.  Love it.
