Depending on your modem and HDD might be faster than PS Now
The PS3 isn't built for it so to get it working they'd have to do some extra things and add lag.

A HDMI to ethernet converter attatched to the PS3 video out could really speed it up, but that is unlikey to happen.

well if you could remote play to your psp... why not to the ps4?

Remote play was very low resolution and of poor quality back then, plus it used a considerableish amount of system power. Enabling it for big graphic intensive games usually dropped the framerate.

It could be done at higher quality to PS4 but again it'd add lag and issues.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Until Dawn pulls a Ryse: Son of Rome. Where initially it was to be a motion-based game for a 7th gen console that gets bumped to the 8th gen and has a more typical control scheme but utilizes some extended features. In this case, touchpad and six-axis support. I do think, however, that they would still make a "VR version".

Hopefully Until Dawn is AAA now, although from the initial reveal I don't see what it'd need a ton of money for.
