QuoteThe headset, PlayStation VR, has been scarce in many stores, especially in Japan, since it went on sale in October. In an interview at his Silicon Valley office on Friday, Mr. House revealed PlayStation VR's sales for the first time, saying consumers had purchased 915,000 of the headsets as of Feb. 19, roughly four months after it went on sale.

Not bad! Probably higher than oculus and vive combined

Those are actually good. VR isn't dead!

Still some stock issues too.

Yep. Seems like PSVR will do decently. It will pick up a lot more if there's more good games out for it. Hopefully this encourages more people to start developing VR games

Now that Farpoint is releasing in May hopefully it gets good reviews and helps sell even more headsets.

The store I go to, he's waiting for someone to trade in a PSVR so he can set it up and let people try it.  He doesn't want to open one up and I guess Sony isn't giving them out in demos?  On the other end, no one's traded it in yet, so it looks like people are satisfied with it.

I haven't played mine for a month or so.  I need to go through Robinson more cause it's my favorite so far.  Still waiting for the new firmware so I can watch my 3d blu rays on it.

Btw.

Dr. Pezus

It needs more game support. Atm it's looking like there are only expensive tech demos available for it

By comparison:
HTC Vive (4 months) ~100k
HTC Vive (7 months) ~140k

Optimistically 200k right now (way way way optimistic...)

I can't find numbers on Oculus.  But I bet it's similar.

PSVR dominated.

Give it PC support and it'll skyrocket even more.

PC support has already been hacked in with relatively good results.
