well im not sure what that means. ME games are great.

I'm starting to get very hyped for this.

Is there any indication that the story is based on previous mass effect games? It'd suck if I have no idea what's going on

There are some very basic ties but nothing that requires you to have played the first three. The story of Andromeda starts between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 and then fast forwards to over 600 years in the future in a different galaxy before you've even moved your character. The story of the trilogy has almost nothing to do with this game.

id actually recommend playing the ME trilogy. Bioware says you dont need to play them before this, and it seems thats the case. but the story in ME1/2/3 is pretty great and the lore is fantastic.

I do want to play them but I don't really have a way to.

I missed out on a lot of games last gen because I didn't have any money to buy my own games.

I think what he mostly means is if you love ME then you should love this one and that it's not really doing much new or different.  That how i have been reading his posts.

You can buy the trilogy on PS3 for like 5 bucks

I kind of don't want to change the look of male Ryder in this. Normally I'd make them look like me but dang male Ryder is quite hot ;D

Haven't got a decent PC to play games like that on.

I could get them on PS now, there's a few other games on there I want to play too

That's why I made the other suggestion.  I've personally wanted to use PSNow for a few games, but other than Catherine I'm not sure what.

Some just seem so weird and could have easily been iron out.  hopefully they have a patch soon after launch to address some of them.   Either way I'm still likely going to love this game.
