Surely they need at least one category between those two. A direct transition between them doesn't make any sense at all. They need something like "very positive reviews".

In fact even that would make much sense, it should go "mixed reviews" - "generally favourable" - "mostly positive" - "very positive" - "universal acclaim" or something like that

Well this is true. That being said, the weighting system isn't that bad. If you work out the average score its usually close to the meta score
