Don't tell me how much I have left:

Spoiler for Hidden:
My last story mission was going to the bunker on the top right of the map.

Also I have a glitched side quest that won't end. It's the one about the stolen spear. Don't think there's a way to fix it. My quest log includes a bunch of empty space and talking to Raven doesn't check it off.

That's my next mission.  The mission before is where I got really intrigued because you learn so much

Huh, does the intrigue of past events not interest you? I was completely hooked by that point.

It was a bit before that for me.

Its such a great backstory though isn't it :o

Same... I played for a good 4-5 hours and didn't touch the main story mission.

Finished all cauldrons and finished hunters lodge storyline
Legend made me remove this. Everybody riot.

Quote from: DerNebel on Mar 05, 2017, 05:08 PMWow, there's a decent difficulty spike after leaving the Nora land, one of the first things I found was one of the big birds, shame was tough.

I still haven't reached Meridian, after playing another couple hours, but the game tells me I have 34% completion. I really need to get back to the story, lol.

Btw. the main thing I'd like to see improved in a sequel are the RPG systems. Leveling up is kinda unsatisfying and the skill tree is a little too straight forward for me as well.
I did it arsenal ways.  I went straight to meridian asap and skipped loads of Nora stuff back home. I was out of my depth in the meridian landscape.  Did a few things but headed back to do loads of the Nora stuff I missed which I'm really enjoying.  This game is so good!

Quote from: Aura7541 on Mar 05, 2017, 05:08 PMIn theory, Guerrilla rotating between Killzone and Horizon would be a good idea. However, it only works effectively if both IPs are really good, like Uncharted and The Last of Us from Naughty Dog. Killzone is not at that level.
Which is why I suggested a new shooter ip instead of killzone

So I'm a ps4 pro owner with a 1080p screen. I've got two graphical options I can select.

"Favor performance" and "Favor Resolution".

So favor performance apparently locks the frame rate pretty perfectly with enhanced graphical features.  But the frame rate isn't a big deal because even when rendered at 4k it's pretty stable.  So the only advantage really is the enhanced graphical features.  What exactly does it enhance?

Now favor resolution keeps the SSAA which the other mode does not.  How much of a benefit is SSAA?

Basically I see this as a SSAA vs Graphical enhancements.  I just don't know which is better.  Any advice is much appreciated!

I really love learning the lore and backstory but I've read every single text document so far and more or less already knew how the "end" came about.

Spoiler for Hidden:
I want to learn more about Zero Dawn and Hades but it feels like the answers will just be "oh ok I expected something like that" things.

Plus I wouldn't consider lore as story. The actual story played out in game feels pretty average and after 47 hours in the game I'm really getting tired of the lack of cut scenes. Almost all story has just been one on one rpg talking.

I love so much of this game but I'm starting to dislike a lot about it too.

Raven

Completed the main story after 40 hours and 23 minutes with 63.9% of the game completed. My level is 42 after the experience from completing it. I love this game.

DD_Bwest

im level 33 right now,   after 25hours.   1 corrupted zone left, the highest level one.   40 something completion.  Ive got alot of quests and side quests to do lol

Spoiler for Hidden:
The last one i did, level 32 zone,  2 of those rockbreakers, plus they are corrupted!  i wasnt sure how the fudge i was gonna pull it off,  I started running back to the river with the thought it couldnt get me in water..   What ended up happening though was it got the attention of 4 snapmaws, some watchers and a long legs.  so i stood back and let them brawl it out while i shot as many fire arrows as i could while the were above ground.  ended up getting both, then finished off the weakned snapmaws lol

LOL for that corrupted section I just stood on top of a rock and killed them that way. I would move out of the way for their missile attack. It was extremely easy but also felt very cheap at the same time.

Quote from: Xevross on Mar 05, 2017, 04:49 PMWhat are people's favourite machines? I have a favourite but its not one which they showed in any media so I'm going to spoiler tag it:

Spoiler for Hidden:
Rockbreaker. Its just so dang fudgy cool and amazing to fight. Its the machine which gave me a massive (amazing) surprise when I first encountered it and it was also the hardest machine to fight first time as well.

I love that if you (spoiler for fighting it strategy)
Spoiler for Hidden:
knock off the components on its arms and legs it can't dig underground anymore and the fight changes completely. Its just amazing.
Might be my favourite video game enemy ever actually.

Stormbird is a very close second, I just don't think its quite as cool :D

so far mine would be the stormbird. holly fudgy shame fudge. i left the land of the nora for the first time and decided to go explore, i found one and it quickly tore me a new bumb lol. then i went on an epic battle against it, i think it took me at least 15 minutes. it was one of the most epic battles i ever had. almost all my health resources at the end were depleted, and i went through a huge chunk of my weapons/ammo resources as well. all at the for some fudgy AI hunters to come and kill it for me when it had very little health and i took down so much armor off of it. but it was an epic battle. loved it.

the thunderjaw is great, i fought the same one twice and died both times, but the storm bird is a very different thing to fight because its flying most of the time, so its a really unique experience. plus, that melee drop attack? run for your fudgy life....

Use favor resolution!

By the way, the post-credits scene not only had me in tears (just a little) but it's also an ominous setup for a sequel.

The post credits scene had you in tears? Do you not mean the pre credits scene? If so, I agree. It was beautiful, fantastic writing.

The post credits scene is an ominous sequel setup though yeah. I'm not sure I like it being there, or at least they could have perhaps done it a bit better.
