Their focus of selling ships is worth the complaints and development has been slow imo but the game is a real game. Next time they have a free weekend you should really try it out.
No man's sky is a real game too! All I'm saying is if I'd donated a lot more than $60 to it on the promises they made I'd be pissed too. Definitely won't come anywhere near the original hype.

See, that's where you question the customer, not the company.

If you donated a lot more than $60 then you're either an idiot who never bothered to look into how big this game was aiming to be and thus realizing it was going to take a long time from scratch and now you're whining that it's the company's fault that you're an idiot, or, you're someone who knew that from the start and you're fine with it. Again, I don't know what promises you're referring to that people should be outraged over. The only thing ever "promised" and not delivered was when Chris Roberts gave a release window that was not realistic and I believe he already clarified his error there a while ago. It's been years now. The people who were "pissed" about the unrealistic release window are either over it or got their refunds. Yet even after that hundreds of millions more dollars flowed into the company's hands with well over a million backers. Whatever outrage or broken promises you think exists at this point just isn't/aren't there. You have a few vocal idiot backers and people on the outside looking in acting like they're part of this or have some legitimate say when they simply don't. Will it be fun at release? Who the hell knows. Will it feature everything Chris Roberts has said it would? Well, that's kinda the reason it's going to take a long fudgy time. Because he won't release it until it does. That was the big point of NOT having a publisher or big private investors and going full crowdfunding. So that it would be released on Roberts' terms in a state he told his fans it would be in.
