How do people here interpret the charts and how it'll translate in the NPD results?  

Whoever wins the monthlies on Amazon, wins NPD. The only exceptions have been pre-orders and retail exclusivity, which has lead to a less obvious result. Over at VGC there are people using the fact Amazon was wrong recently to suggest Amazon should never have been used so assuredly, something I find astonishing considering it HAD been assured in it's results. People are insane.

How do people here interpret the charts and how it'll translate in the NPD results?  

I try to consider all variables, not just Amazon and interpret them to the best of my ability. I'll also be waiting for Abdiel's assessment next month.

We know the following:

• PS4 won Cyber Monday according to Adobe. CM was also bigger than BF online.
• Sony released the FFXV LE bundle.
• FFXV heavily favors the PS4. It sold about 80% PS4/20% XBO in the UK.
• XBO deals lasted from Dec. 11 - 24.
• PS4 deals last from Dec. 11 - 31.
• Sony released the IW/MW RE bundle on Monday the 26th.

I would chalk the PS4 as the winner for Nov. 27 - 28 due to Adobe's report. I think the PS4 sold more from Nov. 29 - Dec. 10 because of FFXV and the LE bundle. TLG and DR4 likely did not move hardware. Dec. 11 - 24 is where I am uncertain about. I personally lean towards the XBO winning that period because it had slightly more aggressive deals. And lastly, the PS4 will definitely sell more from Dec. 25 - 31 because it is still on discount and whatever the COD bundle sells is a bonus. Putting it all together, I would give the PS4 the edge.

As a matter of fact, he has. I checked the November NPD thread and noticed he chimed in. From his perspective, the PS4 had the edge over the XBO leading up to Christmas albeit not in a shutout kind of way.

Assuming this is the case over other retailers, the XBO wasn't able to close the gap from Dec. 11 - 24 in spite of having slightly more aggressive deals like the discounted Minecraft bundle.
