No GAF is basically saying he did awful things but he also did some pretty good things.  

I pretty much agree with that.

Fidel did a lot of exemplar things but at the same time did terrible things to the population.

It is contradictory but he was this dude... doing good and bad for the population... if we can learn only the good things it will be great.
