The slim is doing a little better than I expected, despite the excellent PS4 Pro performance so far. It appears the PS4 brand in general has had a lift because of the PS4 Pro (brand exposure) and PSVR (the incentifyer). A good marketing campaign should more than make sure Sony can continue this momentum through to next February. It's looking good.

I hope the PSVR continues to get a lot of support over the next year. Once its price hits mass market level, Sony will definitely bundle it with the PS4 and/or Pro.

Regardless of whether you consider it a fad or a revolution, without support it will die, and die quickly. This is something to run with not test the market. I think Sony may be doing the latter and that bothers me. But, like I said, if you build it they will come.
