Can't read the whole article but "convenience sample" is never a good sign. I don't think this has been tested enough so I'd never recommend it personally but at least it's noninvasive so it won't do you harm (except for making a dent in your wallet)

My point is, if it is indeed placebo, it's working for some, and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.
