Been playing Zelda BotW on WiiU and The World Ends With You on my Nintendo DS.

I'm doing the memories quest right now in Zelda and will be doing the 4 divine beasts quest soon.

As for The World Ends With You, on Week 2, Day 4 - Lv 20.

Loving the OST!

Kotaku gets clarification on Nintendo's paid service for Classic Games - NeoGAF

QuoteUPDATE (9:50pm): Nintendo confirmed that this monthly plan has indeed changed, telling Kotaku: “Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will have ongoing access to a library of classic games with added online play. Users can play as many of the games as they want, as often as they like, as long as they have an active subscription.”

No more monthly VC game plan, full ongoing library with active subscription. Now the question is, how large said library is, because 20 bucks a year is an insane price for that.

That's going to piss a lot of people off after the holidays. Will basically be a year of free online and then nope. At least the price is good.

Crazy that chat only working on smartphones seems to be true.

The end of online gaming on consoles for me.

RIP Online gaming for me lol - at least on consoles.

Breath of the wild's puzzles are pretty average. The world and exploration are so great but the rest is whatever imo. I'm surprised it received so much universal praise instead of being more decisive.

Sounds like standard procedure for a console Zelda. (The universal praise, despite not being as perfect as it's first made out to be)

The puzzles are okay for me.

So far what I enjoy is the story (ironically since its been light for majority of zeldas), the overall world, the gameplay mechanics on how you interact with the world and all, and the music.

For me its gonna be 95+ I can tell.

The only reason why its not perfect for me is because of the frame rate and the requirement of the WiiU gamepad for some puzzles which pissed me off.

Bear in mind, I have my WiiU gamepad on the charging cradle and have been playing the game 99% of the time with my WiiU pro controller. (Cant stand the horrible gamepad).

I'd have to agree.  Maybe were a couple puzzles I thought were great, but mostly average.  I honestly think the openness is great for sure, but a lot of it is so empty and it's mostly the same enemies over and over.  It gets bland and boring quickly for me.  I still need to get back into it though.

So I've been dicking around in Zelda a little more recently and stumbled upon my first motion contol shrine. Dang that thing was borderline broken in handheld mode. I had to deattach the right joycon and use that on its own to finish the final puzzle.

Game's been pretty fun otherwise, even though I don't see the "10/10 masterpiece and best game EVAR" in it just yet.

Legend

THe motion control shrines are a fun change of pace.

BEtter than the combat trials imo. Those suck after the first one.

I've only done one of those but I can see them getting somewhat monotonous, the combat system in general isn't that outstanding.

Cute Pikachu

Yeah I don't think it's a 10 outta 10 but it's still a fantastic game.

I finished Zelda BotW for the WiiU

I give it a 99 out of 100

Pros
+Open World
+Mechanics involving environment/weather effects/objects, weapon/shield durability, stamina and food creation are all great
+Great story telling and character interaction
+Plenty of Side quests and places to explore
+Great music and visuals

Cons
-Forced usage of gamepad on certain shrine puzzles
-Low FPS drops during heavy interaction in Towns or heavily populated enemy areas
