That is really good news.

I hope in the future they launch 1080p HDR TVs.

What? But how? I've been told that Sony straight up lied to people when they said they added HDR support to all PS4s.

I hope Digital Foundry analyses this soon, so we get an idea of what's going on.

It's good that both PS4 and XBO S support HDR. Will help push more games to enable it.

The HDMI chip on original PS4 can support HDR due being HDMI 2.0a compatible (it was market HDMI 1.4 because when it launched the HDMI 2.0a was not finalized yet but in theory any HDMI 1.4 chip can be upgraded to HDMI 2.0a).
