There are now 4 PS4 bundles above the highest XB1 bundle on the monthly, 3 of those bundles release this month. PS4 Pro jumps 6 places in one day on the yearly, that's quite a leap for a console still a month away from launch. Pro is going to be huge!!!!

Yes I was thinking the same. At this point in time the Battlefield bundle would replace the highest selling bundle anyway, so right now the hourly charts are probably somewhere near even if they had the Halo bundle in stock.

Regardless of what happens, I have a feeling in Nov the PS4 will win by a margin bigger than 175k+whatever the gap is in Oct if the XB1 wins. I'll be sure to point that out on VG. Hopefully you do the same.

It is possible that the Pro + the Infinite Warfare/Modern Warfare slim bundle can erase whatever ground the XB1 gained over the past 3 months. We shouldn't underestimate Microsoft's aggressiveness even though their software offerings outside of Forza Horizon 3 have been meh.

No doubt MS will be aggressive but the Pro will have a lot of preorders by the time it launches and Sony will probably be aggressive with the Slim bundles. Theoretically Sony should be able to drop their console lower than the XB1 S, this is where Sony plan of making a cheaper console will have it's advantage. XB1 S is riding the wave of the upgraders at the moment.

A storm is coming. People are making hay while the sun shines but they're not thinking about the COD bundle, WD Bundle and Pro. MS are winning because of people opting to wait for the Pro, aggressive OG bundles as well as cheap XB1s bundles. MS have devalued their console so much that without great deals (meaning MS taking a loss) people will just wait for the next big deal. Next year we're going to see a drop in sales of the XB1 console like we've never seen before. Meanwhile Sony will be pushing hard with the PS4s, Pro, PSVR and a plethora of exclusives in Q1 of 2017.
