Kingdom Hearts 2.8 ranking really high, I see. I really want to see the PS4 to XB1 ratio for KH3 when that finally comes out because it's going to be entertaining.

That was the ratio for Type-0 in the US/UK, so most likely the ratio is going to be more lopsided than that. Since Type-0, the XB1 only had one other JRPG while the PS4 received over a dozen.

So the big question is how much of an influence will Gears have on XB1 sales? With the Ultimate Edition releasing today and the standard version only a few days away, Amazon suggests there isn't a significant increase in sales. Will we see an XB1 in the top 20?

Also gg, Gears Ultimate Edition should be taken off preorders as it released today.

Clearly the PS4pro is more popular than the Gears bundle, and I'm not 'confident' in the Gear bundle hitting the top 20. The reviews are out already so the only possible way the hype (equals more sales) can be elevated further than it is already is through Let's Plays. TLOU benefited greatly from those but that was mainly because of the story and from what I've heard Gears isn't exactly noted for its story.

edit: and now I've got two XB1 owners (over at VG) complaining about how many SKUs there are for the XB1. Amazon used to run so smoothly and in good spirit until they started getting involved and now it's just turning into yet another mess. No offense to decent XB1 owner.

It's not a coincidence that there is a lot of software in the top 20 at the moment and the console are not getting into the top 20. Sofware is pushing consoles down. I wouldn't mind betting that IF that software wasn't selling so well, the console would be a good 8 - 10 places higher.

Ps4 slim back to #2 on amazon Japan.  Above pokemon again.  This is good because pokemon is a high barometer to be above.  Next Wednesday and the following Wednesday should give the new baseline so I'm really excited for that.

The more consoles there are out there, the more the consoles have to sell to beat the software, which obviously sell more because there's more consoles out there. Confusing but you see what I mean.
