Original tweet included XBO and PS4 controllers. Maybe they didn't mean to imply console cross play.

Hm, well this isn't confusing at all. Btw. people are saying that because Minecraft is owned by MS and because Realms is running on their servers that they just did this without Sonys consent (which I think is unrealistic) or did a powerplay by threatening to drop support for Minecraft on Playstation platforms (which I could actually see being the case).

However the original tweet didn't include a Wii U, are Minecraft Realms not available on Wii U?

Yeah, I know and now with the new tweet it looks like crossplay between consoles might not be happening at all, which just makes me wonder how that first tweet could even go out like that. Who made this picture, if the company knew that X1/PS4 crossplay wasn't going to be a thing?
