Shuhei Yoshida blames Hello Games for No Man's Sky PR - NeoGAF

Quote
Quote"I understand some of the criticisms especially Sean Murray is getting, because he sounded like he was promising more features in the game from day one. "It wasn't a great PR strategy, because he didn't have a PR person helping him, and in the end he is an indie developer. But he says their plan is to continue to develop No Man's Sky features and such, and I'm looking forward to continuing to play the game."

Sony absolutely crushing it in the PR department lately.  Like, I know a lot of people agree with him, but, throwing devs under the bus is maybe not the best way to go about it? Especially when you invite them on your stage at E3 to sell the game to the public? http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...on-no-mans-sky Unfairly put all the blame on me if old. Edit: Just so everyone's happy, here's a quote where Shu was nice about No Man's Sky also from the same article even though it has nothing to do with the original intent of this thread!
Quote"I am super happy with the game actually, and I'm amazed with the sales the game has gotten, so I'm not the right person to judge if it has 'harmed' the PlayStation brand. I personally don't think so. If anything, I am proud that people can play No Man's Sky on PS4 as well as PC."

I purposefully copied over the Gaf clickbait title.

He's actually blaming no PR person to help a studio due to them being indie and without the resources...
