I managed to dig up the 360's numbers in May and June 2010 NPD (the 360S released in June 2010).

360S	XB1S
May 2010 = 270K	July 2016 = 171K
June 2010 = 452K	August 2016 = 275K
Raw Boost = 182K	Raw Boost = 114K
% Boost = 67.4%	% Boost = 66.7%

Percentage wise, the boosts are similar, but the 360S had a much greater impact in sales. Also, the 360S released after the PS3 slim whereas the XB1S released before the PS4 Slim. I can imagine the PS4 slim knocking some of wind out of the XB1S's sails now that it is bundled with UC4 and is $50 cheaper.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it boosted less than 70%. I mean they are already dangling the dang Pro in front of peoples faces.

The thing is that the slim came out about a week after the official announcement. In contrast, the XB1S had two months of preorders. A 70% boost will be fantastic for the PS4 slim. And as DerNebel said, the Pro is also coming out in November, so some of the sales will get allocated to November.
