If you could go back in time would you give the head of Konami a basket of cookies to smooth things over with Kojima, which meant we got Kojima and Guillermo del Toro's twisted interpretation of the already twisted Silent Hill series.

Or would you let nature take it's course, which would mean that we get Death Stranding. To refresh our memories,

Personally this would be a very hard choice, Hideo is one of my favourite developers and both projects have huge potential. I'm a huge fan of Silent Hill and having lost its way, for what seems like ever, this cancelled Kojima game would of made Silent Hill great again.

On the other hand we have Death Standing which looks interesting, very interesting. We don't really know what the game is about yet but I love the idea of Kojima being let loose on a game after years of being held back by Konami.

I think I would choose Death Stranding because I love it when developers try something new and fresh and I get that feeling with this game. I'm still sad that Silent Hills got cancelled but I still hold hope (but not much hope) that Konami might buck up its ideas and make a decent Silent Hill.

On a side note: I think the best thing to ever happen to us gamers is that Kojima cut his ties with Konami.

Death Stranding by far.

I've never played Silent Hills and I'm not a horror game fan  ::)

I'm not sure.  I'd have to see more of Death Tranding.

Yeah we know nothing about it really but the reveal trailer as got me excited!

I'm gonna go with Death Stranding. Based on the trailer, it looks like Kojima is adapting some of his ideas he had for Silent Hills. At the same time, he gets to flex his on creative muscle now he is not bound to the Silent Hill or Metal Gear Solid franchises. That gets me pretty excited.

But does it get you more excited than the though of Hideo in a mankini? Doubt it!

Never played a silent hills and not big into the horror genre so I'd go with death Stranding.  I'd like to see him do silent hills because it would make a lot of gamers relevant and make silent hills relevant again.

But I'd prefer to see hideo not tied to an IP and see what he can come up with,  without any limitations.  So I'll pick DS.

Not expecting the game to be shown until next year and I don't expect it out before 2018. Possibly 2019 if it's delayed.

Death strandings trailer was great.  I know nothing about it but want more of it.
Is this where I talk favorably about myself?

Although I agree with everybody, I'm surprised nobody has chosen Silent Hills. Are there any Silent Hill fans out there? It was a close call for me and being a big fan of Silent Hill 1, 2 & 3 plus the idea of Kojima and del Toro making it would of bought the series to new heights imo.

I got to the school in Silent Hill 1.  That was about 2 years or so ago.  We considered the game the work of the Devil back in high school.

Silent Hill 1, I actually did a retro review on that a few years ago. Silent Hill review – Gaming Capacity
