With current NX info, do you think it'll outsell the Wii U/3DS?

It's a portable and a home console combined. Will it outsell the Wii U and 3DS combined? Or just outsell the 3DS? Or just outsell the Wii U? Or not even outsell the Wii U?

Personally it seems like such a horrible home console design, but it'll have twice the software support. I think tons of people could buy it for a mobile.

~50 million lifetime

Depends on price, games, and probably size.
15m -  almost worst case scenario, basically 249-279$ launch.  Bad game line up, ridiculous size
35m - 249$ launch(+fast price drop), 3DS/Wii U level line up, overly big.
50m - 229$ launch(+fast price drop), better than Wii U/3DS, good size
60m - 200$ launch(+fast price drop), much better than Wii U/3DS, good size.

I'm thinking ~50m.  They'll have games like Pokemon, Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart, etc to really push it.  I have some faith in Nintendo that they'll do good for the hardware and price. Maybe not 200$ launch price, not really sure if I have that much faith now that I think about it.

Better than the Wii U for sure, won't live up to 3DS+Wii U I would say. Less than the 3DS is a realistic possibility.

I'd rather get a DS than this system.

But seriously, I really do want a DS.

as currently described it doesn't sounds like a worthwhile console whatsoever.  it's a mobile device that forget it is a mobile device.  as such

3DS > NX > wiiU

basically dedicated mobile is dying to apple/android but not quite dead.  the slide will continue but not soo much so that it does as bad as the wiiU.  lets say 20-40 million or so depending on how much the new features distract it from being good mobile console.  40 million if it is a really good mobile console with some gimmicks.  20 million if the new features destroy battery life or make the price way too high.

halo, forza, gears..

these games are on every nintendo device.  no one expects to not have that on a nintendo device and yet nintendo devices still manage to fail.  their franchises are strong enough to distract from a terrible idea.
