I don't know. It just seems like every time I see Daigo he's losing and all I hear is, "THE BEAST! DAIGO UMEHARA!". I'm like, "Umm... the beast just got slayed..."

Yeah. Smash Bros kinda irritates me. If it was up to me, Melee would have been removed from EVO a long time ago. It really should be the latest version of a franchise and that's it. The fact that Smash gets two different games at EVO where another game could be in its place is a shame. Like, why is BlazBlue not at EVO instead?

I thought the same thing too.  But back last December, Daigo was destroying people.  Not even close.  Like, he obliterated everyone in his path.  I think he's just 1. not used to 5 yet.  2. not focused on the game.  Not like Tokido.  Tokido's focused, which makes him not in the top 8 almost heart breaking.

That pissed me off.  I agree with Nintendo.  fudge Melee and stream the Wii U version if you want Melee.  But fudge Mr. Wizard cause Melee took up King of Fighter XIII's space.  Or Blazblue's space.  Wasn't Blazblue's ending last year pretty crazy?  I mean, fudgy hipsters.  Like get with the times.  Your'e only playing Melee because you suck at the Wii U version and don't want to get good.  Like insta gratification at its finest.  Yet they shame on Call of Duty for that....

The Capcom stage is pretty cool.  It has Evo's logo and stuff in the background.

Of course, we just had to have Pokken Tournament jammed in there, too. I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, but the last time BlazBlue was at EVO, its final was out-fudgy-standing. The kind of edge of your seat shame that makes the idea of E-Sports legit. Dude comes from losers bracket, gets all the way down to the last round, bracket gets reset, goes all the way to the last round again, and the guy that came up from losers won. Nearly every round was brutal and down to the wire. I was cheering out loud. It takes a lot to make me do that over watching someone play a game.

Yeah, I think that stage was a neat idea. Also pretty appropriate for a fair amount of characters.

Yeah Pokken is such a clusterfuck.  I have no idea why that game doesn't get the shame that Street Fighter does.  It took 40 minute to get through one match.  ONE!  Not only that, they had to play it online.  Pokken doesn't have a lobby so they had to try rigging the system so the two fighters could fight each other.  I didn't watch much, but what if the players trying to connect to each other connected to someone else who's just trying to play someone?  The game's a mess.  But hey, only Street Fighter's broken, Nintendo made the best fighting game ever.

They need an anime game at EVO other than Guilty Gear.

Totally agree. Get rid of Melee and put another anime title in there.

Definitely agree with the commentary. Yukadon won't win if he lets Infiltration collect his thoughts. He has to stay aggressive. If Infiltration has time to think about his next moves he picks Yukadon apart.
