I really wanna see what the gimmick is. Will it be something we've guessed at, or will it be completely out of left field?

Its gonna be something really bad isn't it. I reckon it'll be something weird and new. The same story as the wii-mote back in the day, although I expect it won't be anywhere near as popular.

Im having a hard time thinking of what it could be. Out side of holograms. What else is there?

Nintendo has the to that question ;)

If people had already though of everything then there'd be nothing new. Inventions wouldn't exist ;)

"Holograms" aren't real though, and AR would be really expensive.

Nintendo really need to get their head out of their dog. their arrogance is just becoming pure annoying. they act as they are on another level compared to the rest of the industry, when reality is that so many other companies are leaps and bounds ahead of them when it comes to quality. another example of their recent arrogance is calling zelda "open air" instead of open world. because its something "completely new".... geez....

seriously Nintendo, Sony wont give 2 nuggets about what you are doing. its very clear that with the PS4 they had a strong and clear strategy, with a strong understanding of the market.
