The attackers specifically targeted foreigners. 20 hostages and 2 police officers were killed. Vast majority of hostages were foreigners: 9 Italians, 7 Japanese, 2 Bangladeshis, 1 American, and 1 Indian.

Well then... that was a bit distasteful. Neither terror attack was good, but the one in Baghdad is a lot worse. You could say that the attack in Dhaka was racist.
