Sony E3 2016 Live view! Get hyped!

Yeah, I saw that. Hopefully, that means when Sony announces a release date, they actually mean it.

So no date on GR2 means... delay ;(

Great for a 60 minute show, but why the heck did they make it so short?

Would have really prefered it to have more fluff and awkward talking. No Shu, no Adam, no third party, no indie; that's crazy!

Also the cameraman was horrible. Switching to the audience is one thing, but switching to the audience so that the stage isn't visible? Uck. Had no clue what was being shown after every trailer.



GOW looked incredible. I love that Kratos is back. Wonder why it's just GOW?

Days Gone had a poor trailer but an amazing demo. That was a great way to close the show. I'm hyped.

Pros:

God of War: Without question the highlight of the conference, I would go so far to say that the beginning of the conference was one of the strongest moments they've ever had
Horizon: The dialogue stuff looked a little rough, other than that amazing
Days Gone: Even though I think the demo was rough, I'd still call it a positive
Sony actually spending money to get some big names to VR
TLG getting an actual release date
Spider-Man and Crash PS4 actually existing

Cons:

The way the Kojima game and especially Crash were shown: really you can show us nothing of a remastered Crash on PS4? Why do I need a CGI trailer for Kojimas game now?
The complete lack of commitment for actually giving any indication when all these games are supposed to come out.
Why show Days Gone's trailer first and the gameplay at the end? It really feels to me like something got cut at the end and Days Gone had to take its place
Live gameplay is great, but you don't need to show us the dude playing the whole time, we believe you
I would have liked some more hosting, some people telling me something about these games on stage, I just feel like a lot of stuff was given too little time
The Lego Star Wars trailer was annoying, we've all seen the movie

Like I said, on paper this show was amazing in execution it was lacking somewhat to me.

Edit: Oh and no Persona 5 outside of the montage!!

Something got cut. Either they were going to show neo and decied not to or they cut something that might have been insensitive to the shooting.

My guess is that through the game you play the boy growing up, becoming the new God of War, thus the whole thing is a new origin story.

Could be completely wrong of course.

Also the freaking demo is sitting at 280k views on youtube already!!!

That sounds like it could be true. It would be a shame really, their conference would have been elevated by the new Red Dead announcement at the end.
