So I've finally joined the next gen family...Just some quick impressions (10 minutes of use), this thing is super fast. I mean god dang the XMB would slow down/freeze up quite a bit but everything so far is super smooth. I'm downloading three games thus far (KZ, Order, Bloodborne).

Any quick tips for a newbie like me to get the most out of my system? Like anything I could do that'll make my experience better, any hidden settings that might help with ease of use or whatever...Let me know.

Also I got a 10$ gift voucher with the PS4, anything good that's under 10$ on the PS Store? Or maybe at max 20$ if I add another 10$ of my own. Don't say Rocket League.

Hmm, you can set your PS4 to auto login.

Also you can adjust what the PS4 does when in standby. Just turn all that stuff on unless you have an expensive electricity bill.

If you double tap the PS button it swaps between applications.

If you don't have the Camera, you can use the pack in microphone for voice commands.

When installing games, it can install as you play. For specific games it'll let you decide what to install first.

If you set the system to your primary PS4 (might happen automatically), other people can play your games while you're logged out.

I don't know if it is your type of game but they are awesome...

Tales of the Borderlands (best Tales games and made me want to read/play all Borderlands story again... B3 hyped in heavens already)

Strange Life (absolutely loved).

Outlast is amazing terror done right.

It is sad new users can't experiment PT demo... it is crazy good... a VR game from this tease could be a mark in video games story.
