GOTY 2016 predictions?!

2016 should be a good year for gaming. Uncharted, VR, Final Fantasy XV coming out (maybe), Persona 5, token EA, Activision and Ubisoft games, Dark Souls 3, some Sony games that will end up being delayed to 2017, Rigs, a few Telltale games, a dozen Lego games and more! Something for everyone

I think it'll be a competition between Uncharted 4 and Horizon, an epic battle between the swan song of a critically acclaimed series vs a new IP with mechasaurs.

Wasn't till answering this thread that I realised how average the year is atm.

Uncharted and Horizon are pretty much it for predicted GOTY contenders.

Oh I could additionally see No Man's Sky winning a fair amount.

Unless something terrible and sad happens Uncharted 4 will win the most awards this year.

Dark Souls 3 and X-com 2 are likely to win at least a few.

I really hope Horizon is good enough to win awards, I'm very scared Guerrilla won't manage it!

If TLG is as good as Shadow of the Colossus and Ico it'll win a lot of awards.

And I guess some other surprises will be up there.

Uncharted 4 will probably end up winning the most Goty awards, maybe Horizon and NMS if they live up to their potential.

But in our heart we know that the best game of the year will be Persona 5.

And yeah, now that I think about it there doesn't really seem to be a big multiplat currently on the horizon that has a good shot at winning many Gotys.

we gotta wait till E3 to see what else will release this year. if RDR somehow manages to release this year, we could possibly see it winning the most awards.

i think the biggest contender so far this year is Uncharted 4, it will be hard for Horizon to live up to all the hype surrounding it, because there is A LOT. but if it does, i can see it taking a huge chunk of awards, because its a new IP and seems rather unique.
