FFXIII everybody say it is the worst.

That is the difference.

I personally rank 12 just below 6... it is my second best FF play time.

I will play the demo right now... please be good... the last one was trash.
There's a lot of revinionist history going on with FFXII I feel, many many fans didn't like it when it came out, felt too MMO-ish, uninteresting story and characters etc.

Btw. the worst before 13 was still 10 though.

I think the word you're looking for is "taste", I have taste :D

That bunny woman character sounded mentally disabled. 10 was different but first on Ps2 so it had a wow effect. Probably didn't age well. I only played it once... The water scene was cringe worthy though

I think with all the marketing it is the minimum.

And it is over any FF already sold in the main release.

I wonder how many, if any, points FFXV will get at Comg today, it's currently holding the top 5 positions on Amazon Japans bestseller list, even the X1 collectors edition made it in there. :O

Horizon

This will be my first Final Fantasy. Bloody enjoyed that demo! Going to pre-order this now.

Not after I slap it out.  >:(

Disappointed.

Being fair this demo put me away from FF.

The graphics are fine, the world movement is fine... the battle system terrible.

This FF is faded to fail from the same mistakes than FFXIII failed.

C'mon nobody expect an action RPG from FF... stop this battleship and make a proper battle system that I can not get bored... make it turn based... it is better.

I almost give up near the middle of the demo.

SE asking me to buy the game at end? That can be only a joke.

Edit - The framerate is bad but it is a demo.

Hyperbole to the max.

Turnbased battle systems are not better than action based battle systems.

This demo is clearly just there to show you FFXVs systems and tech, it's teaching you on a very basic level how the battle system works but is not trying to challenge you in the least cause that's not really the point. The point is "check out our day/night cycle and weather", "check out the physics we have" (I was surprised when I saw that the building blocks in the big room actually move), "check out car driving and how magic will work" etc.

This is clearly a dressed up tech demo and shouldn't be taken as anything else.

It is terrible.

Get rip off from this action combat system fast... it will surfer the same happened to FFXIII.

Get back the old, cool and good ATB.

Yeah no thanks, I like FF trying new things with its combat and you shouldn't judge it based on a 40 minute demo, that had only one fight where you could actually take damage and even that was on super easy mode. Dismissing this whole game based on the stripped down battle system of this demo is reacting prematurely.

Fine.

I'm out.

No buy.

I need to accept FF died... ops it was killed by SE.
