I've been blown away by how positive GAF is taking the price.  
I think I've seen like 4 negative posts out of a good few hundred.

Yeah and even the it's "only" the top comment and the replies to that comment, once you go down more it becomes a lot more positive and reddit in general has been positive as hell.

There are a lot of people who want VR and Sony just offered by far the most compelling option. Most people I've seen being negative about the price are the same kind of people who think VR headsets shouldn't even cost $200. The others simply don't want to put any serious investment into something they're afraid will go the way of Kinect.

i just cant see the mass market latching onto it with that price. specially since it doesnt have a killer app. yes, there are some amazing impressions with PS VR and its games. battlezone seems to be getting a lot of praise. but there doesnt seem to be that game that all the press and gaming community want. its just good reviews all around. but nothing that is making people lose their shame.

Europe pre orders are up since announce yesterday and most places got sold out in minutes.

It is weird to see US pre orders not up yet.
