Quote from: Legend on Feb 18, 2016, 09:20 PMThere's some valid problems with NeoGaf like with NPD George.

But I still like them  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't understand the gamegate at all... neither the involvement of GAF.

BTW this is what you read in the Twitter profile that created the video.

Ludicrous Speed

Mine does that too. Or when I add someone, another disappears. Controller configuration glitches, too. Capcom should have maybe waited one more week before rushing it out the door.

I hope a controller config glitches during the finale of the Street Fighter Super Duper Expo Tournament of Champions or whatever it is that made them release the game in this state.

They're all smaller tournaments.  Closest big one is Evo and that's not out till July.  They had to get the game out so people could start building points for Capcom Cup.

So after playing a bit the other night I understand all the complaints about content at launch. It should be a more filled out game in a few months. But online fights is pretty much the only thing to do. And I don't like the story mode at all. I haven't got around to survival yet though. Challenge mode should have been there day one. That's how I learn combos. Even if it's about impossible to actually use those in a match. Still feels good in that rare occasion that you can pull it off.

I like Story mode, I just feel it needed to have been done in proper arcade format.  Survival kinda takes over for it though, but still.  Challenge mode should be there.  I don't know what chains with what and I refuse to look at frame data (I feel out if something is safe or not).

The actual Story Mode is a Prologue for the characters and it is the think I most liked in this new SF.
Fast, easy and direct to the point... loved the Prologue Story Mode.

They can add an Arcade Mode but fight 7-10 battles to see the Prologue of the characters is a terrible ideia.

Prologue Store Mode do that and it still train you for fights.

Survival é fun on Easy and Normal... Hard and Very Hard I will do only one time (one char) because it gets too boring to fight 100 battles in a row.

Challenges, Trials and Targets will do a new life to the game in 2 weeks.

Maybe because every SF game launched with less content than SFV.

SFIV launched with 17 playable characters and Arcade Mode (include Versus Mode).

SFV launched with 16 playable characters, Prologue Mode, Versus Mode, Survival Mode, Training Mode, Online Multiplayer Mode.

People on GAF are comparing the console port a year after the realease with SFV first version.

Rightfully so.  There is no arcade version of Street Fighter 5 to compare it to the arcade version of Street Fighter 4.  There is a console version of Street FIghter 4, which had 25 characters, proper arcade (Better than prologue when comparing it to content), training, challenges, and working online.  Don't get me wrong,  I'm not hating on Street Fighter 5.  I mean, I grew up on paying 80 dollars on Street Fighter games, which came with pretty much just versus and arcade.  So other than a lack of arcade mode, Street Fighter 5's content is more than enough for me.  I also know the game's going to get a shame ton better with updates.  The problem is that there's little things that could easily have been programmed into the game.  Prologue should have been turned into a proper arcade mode with two rounds per battle with the illustrations in the beginning, middle and end instead of this 3 round battleship that it is.  The game has had 5 betas, yet the servers are worse than what Street Fighter 4 launched with.  If they couldn't get cross gameplay working properly, they should have made console specific online work at least.  There's no excuse for that.  A few more people added to the project would have been able to fix a lot of problems at launch.
