It weird to say the game lacks content when what it have less than SFIV? Trials?

Reviews are dumb... if they give SFIV 9-10 I can't see how they can give SFV 7-8.

Seems like gameplay is top notch... every review I read is praising it.

Street Fighter V is easily the fighting title I've had the most fun playing in my 20 years of gaming. That's also why the overall package is such a disappointment.

Gives 5/10 to the most fun fighting game ever (his words). And the fact that it is so good makes it..worse... ? Cause if it wasn't as good and still lacked content it would've been higher than a 5/10 due to disappointing less..while disappointing less cause it's worse? Lol.

It doesn't have an arcade mode for instance.

I've watched 2 reviews, IGN said the game is "peerless" when it comes to its mechanics but is lacking in content and videogamer called it the best fighting game you can buy, pretty much also only criticising the content and the content delivery system. I think the content complaint is absolutely fair, even though docking 5 points because of it seems stupid. Let's hope some of these lower scores don't hurt the game in the long run, though overall scores are still positive so it should be fine.

Also I've read that the reason the game had to come out in february is because there are Capcom Cup events in february already, so they need the game in peoples hands.

Arcade mode is that mode you play with a char until get to a end with some pictures?

It is called Story Mode now.

No.  Story mode is a 3 round mode where you fight the A.I. on easy for one round and 3-4 matches.  Arcade mode is where you have 10 enemies selected and played against in a proper 2/3 round matches with an end boss.

I doubt that'd have changed much. At best, if released later it'd come with March's update and that's it. Everything else would also be delayed. They're set on the service aspect of the game. And I do think that this is what "endless" games should do (racers, fighters, etc).

Completely expected scores to look like this. A lot of missing single player content, a relatively light starting roster for a $60 fighting game, and no store to use fight money for a month. Over the next 4 months though, this game will be packed.

Way less matches.  It's literally 3 rounds.  That's a normal match and a half.

Yeah but I think the march update will add a large chunk of what is now considered a lack in content, like trials, challenges, better lobbies and spectator mode and I'll honestly be shocked if they don't have an arcade mode in the game by march as well. That alone would have probably added a 0.5-1 to most scores complaining about content now, probably a 3-4 to that weird 5/10.
