I only learned about it from OP.
They applied for trademark last July.  Trademark Status & Document Retrieval
They announced it last week (Jan 26th), and a lot of people have of course been very upset about it.

Overall that's pretty nuts.

Losing like 70+ subscribers a minute.  And the rate of lost subscribers seems to be going up and down.  It's not just dropping.

Ah so pretty much a repeat of King with the Candy trademark.

Sound like a pretty petty company with this and the other things shown on the tracking page.

it looks like there loss rate is slowing down,  its around 54-55 a minute.     it was well over a hundred earlier lol

I'd like to see them loose a million. Just to further drive the point.

It'll be glorious if their subscriber count falls below 10 million.

Yes, but I doubt that would happen. Sadly people just don't give a shame.

Well its back over 100 now.

I only just decided to read into this, seems like it was a pretty shame thing for them to do. Losing this many subscribers is worse than it seems, because people who subscriber were probably active viewers. Most of their subscribers will have forgotten about them, that's how youtube works.

They lost 58,444 sense I posted that link yesterday.

It looks like they've managed to stop the bleeding a bunch. They are now under 20 lost subs a min. With a total loss approaching 415,000 subs.
