I'm guessing Kasich will the next candidate to drop out. That's too bad because I'd rather have a 3-man race between him, Trump, and Rubio.

That's what prompted me to make this thread!

The realisation he actually has a strong shot at winning.

Sanders will win. How old is he though? Probably doesn't have many years in him

The fact that he has so much competition is actually a good thing for him, unfortunately.

Probably going to be Hillary. :(

Ah if only.
Believe he is 74.  All the candidates would make the record for oldest president.

He'll be fine.  ;)
Think that one is a little sped up.

Hillary would only tie with Reagan.

not way.  hillary is winning the popular vote across the nation - it will be close but hilary will win the voter delagate count.  honestly if NH wasn't the second state to vote bernie would already be out of the race because that state is skewing the perception of how much democrates what bernie as their candidate.

...and then hillary has the full support of all the superdelagates to boot.   bernie doesn't stand a chance.

hillary is my favorite candidate from who is left.  trump/cruz/bernie are insanely bad choices,.. i haven't really looked into rubio much so from my perspective hillary is the only one that won't aim for the ditch if given control of the direction of our country.

Bernie is actually doing fairly well with voting.  It's about 50%

Nevada
Clinton (won) 52.6%
Sanders  47.3%

Iowa
Clinton (won)  49.9%
Sanders  49.6%

He's doing way better than expected.  But yeah, she's way way ahead because of super-delegates.

Sanders : 70
Clinton : 503

Why do you view Bernie as a bad choice?
He's pretty much normal in Europe.
Like healthcare, everyone has healthcare, except Russia and US.  Every other major country has health care to some extent or another.

What are super delegates?

Also I think Bernie is a bit too left wing tbh

Super delegates are who actually decide the winner.

Popular opinion doesn't matter.

our election process is a democracy.  people vote and the winner of that voting becomes the president.  the political parties however is not part of the us constitution and no bound to the idea of demacracy,.. not legally at least.

for democrats most of the delegates to determine who will be the party's nominee is determined via voting of some sort although caucuses are, imo, weird.  the point is that some delegates are reserved for party leaders and these delegates are not voted upon.  they aren't a huge part of the overall delegate count but in the event the popular vote is close it is enough for the party leaders to influence which of the canidates is nominated.

right now hillary has every pledged super delegate.

That makes sense, thanks!

Do the Republicans have super delegates as well?
